The Close alternative with a flat price and your website built in.
If your team lives on Close’s dialers and sends a lot of SMS, stay on Close; if you mostly call and book appointments, and you also pay for a separate website, funnel and booking tool, switching can cut the bill sharply. Close charges $35 to $139 per seat a month on annual billing, with calls, SMS and call transcripts billed on top. UnifyLoop is one flat monthly fee from $49 with unlimited users, calling minutes included, and your website, funnels, checkout, booking pages and WhatsApp in the same place.
Reviewed October 20, 2026 against Close’s public docs and pricing
When Close is the right call
Close is the stronger choice when calling and texting are the whole job:
- You need a predictive dialer or live call coaching (listen, whisper, barge)
- Your reps text leads every day: two-way SMS and MMS are on every Close plan
- You want two-way Gmail or Outlook sync, a mobile app and a mature public API
- You want an AI agent (Chloe) that can call, qualify and book meetings
When UnifyLoop is the right call
UnifyLoop is the stronger choice when you’re paying for seats and extra tools:
- One flat fee with unlimited users: $99 a month on Growth covers 10 dialer seats
- Power dialer, call recording and transcripts on every paid plan, minutes included
- Native WhatsApp through the official Cloud API, with no extra subscription
- Website, funnels with Stripe checkout and booking pages, so you can drop those tools

Where Close genuinely wins
Close is the stronger calling tool, and that is simply true. It has a predictive dialer and live call coaching on Scale, voicemail drop on Growth, and two-way SMS and MMS on every plan, while UnifyLoop has no SMS yet and no predictive dialer. Close also syncs with Gmail and Outlook, has iOS and Android apps, and offers a mature public API with webhooks. Its AI agent, Chloe, can call, qualify and book meetings for US customers. If your team texts all day or runs a predictive dialer, weigh that honestly before you switch.
The real cost for a team of 5: $625 versus $99
Close charges per seat, so the bill grows with every rep you hire, and the power dialer and workflows start on Growth at $99 per seat billed annually. UnifyLoop charges one fee for the workspace: Growth is $99 a month with 2,000 calling minutes and 10 dialer seats, recording and transcripts included. Here is a month for 5 reps making 2,000 outbound minutes, all recorded and transcribed, using Close’s list prices on 2026-10-20:
- Close: $495 Growth (5 × $99, annual) + about $40 calls (2,000 × $0.02, Close’s own estimate) + $50 Call Assistant + up to $40 transcripts (2,000 × $0.02) = about $625 a month ($675 on monthly billing)
- UnifyLoop: $99 a month on Growth, all of the above included, and your website, funnels and booking pages too
- Both: phone numbers cost extra (about $1 a line on Close, $1.15 on UnifyLoop), and SMS on Close is billed per message on top
What switching from Close involves
Bring your leads, contacts and opportunities across as CSV files, import them with column mapping, and use the duplicates screen to clean up. Set up your phone numbers in UnifyLoop at $1.15 a month each, or bring your own Twilio account, and set calling hours so nobody dials a lead outside 8am to 9pm in their time zone. Close workflows don’t transfer, so rebuild the ones that matter by describing them in plain English, or start from 30+ ready-made follow-up automations. Call recording retention on Close depends on your plan, so save any recordings you need before you cancel, and note that UnifyLoop does not send texts yet.
Moving from Close, step by step.
Records come across by CSV with column mapping. Automations are rebuilt rather than translated, which makes the move a good moment to keep only the ones that earn their place.
- 01
Export from Close
Export your records from Close to CSV, one file per kind of record.
- 02
Set up your objects
Contacts, companies, and leads are already there. Add any custom objects and fields first, so every column has somewhere to land.
- 03
Import and merge
Import each file with column mapping, then clear likely matches on the duplicates screen before your team starts work.
- 04
Rebuild what matters
Automations don’t transfer mechanically. Rebuild the few you rely on, or describe them in words and review the workflow AI drafts.

Is UnifyLoop cheaper than Close?
Yes, for any team bigger than one person: UnifyLoop is a flat $49 or $99 a month for unlimited users, while Close charges $35 to $139 per seat a month on annual billing, with calls and SMS extra. On list prices checked 2026-10-20, 5 reps on Close Growth making 2,000 recorded and transcribed call minutes cost about $625 a month ($495 seats + about $40 calls + $50 Call Assistant + up to $40 transcripts). The same month is $99 on UnifyLoop Growth, which includes 2,000 minutes, recording and transcripts.
What does Close have that UnifyLoop doesn’t?
Close has SMS, a predictive dialer, live call coaching, voicemail drop, two-way Gmail and Outlook sync, iOS and Android apps, a public API and an AI agent that can make calls. UnifyLoop has none of these today; SMS through your own Twilio account is coming soon. If your process depends on any of them, Close is the better fit.
Can I move my data from Close to UnifyLoop?
Yes: leads, contacts and opportunities come across as CSV files, imported with column mapping and a duplicates screen. Custom fields map to fields you create on any plan, including Free. Workflows need to be rebuilt, which you do by describing them in plain English and reviewing them before they run.
Does UnifyLoop have a power dialer like Close?
Yes: UnifyLoop has a power dialer over any saved segment, on every paid plan, where Close starts it on Growth at $99 per seat. It includes a browser softphone, local-presence caller ID, transfers, voicemail, call outcomes, call reports per rep, and recording with transcripts. It does not have a predictive dialer or live call coaching, which Close offers on its $139 Scale plan.
Does Close have WhatsApp?
Only through an integration: Close connects to TimelinesAI, a separate subscription, and says the WhatsApp Business API is not yet supported. UnifyLoop has WhatsApp built into the shared inbox through the official Cloud API, using your own Meta app, so Meta bills you directly with no markup. Note that Meta has paused WhatsApp marketing template messages to US numbers since April 2025 for every provider, though conversations and replies work normally.
Do I pay per user on UnifyLoop?
No: every paid plan has unlimited users, and the only per-person count is dialer seats, because each caller needs a phone line. Starter at $49 a month includes 3 dialer seats, Growth at $99 includes 10, and Scale at $249 includes 25. Upgrades are confirmed by email and nothing charges your card automatically.
